What motivated you to start Letsshop.in?
E-commerce has been slowly and steadily picking up in India and our aim has been to provide our consumers with the most convenient and effortless shopping experience. Online shopping is the biggest boom for shoppers and we wanted to provide our customers with the most market-friendly prices so they can afford all that they want to buy.
Consequently, I wanted to start up a customer friendly portal making sure and that’s how Letsshop.in was born in August 2010. After years of experience with a lot of other companies, I successfully ventured into the online selling portal forum with www.letsshop.in with an aim to ensure that authentic products are available at rock bottom prices and hope to position the website as every individual’s preferred online shopping portal.
What was your profession before starting Letsshop.in?
After studying at Anglia Ruskin University I moved on to various businesses. I am the founder of Call Connect India Group, a company established in Delhi, in the year 2004 with diversified interests in E-Commerce and call centre projects. I am also the founder at 6th Element Travel Services LLC as well as RECV ONLINE Inc.
I have over 9 years of work experience and knowledge base for BPO’s. I have helped a lot of clients to identify their outsourcing needs and helped them to restructure their marketing strategy. I am also happily on board as a consulting director for a couple of other blue chip companies in the UK as well as the United States.
Why did you think of starting Letsshop.in?
I wanted to make sure that all the products and services of value are made available to people from the remotest areas of the country so that they can buy all those things simply by clicking on the products they want or need. Giving these consumers a great value for money and personalized service, right at their doorsteps was what I had in mind and I have tried to do just that with the portal.
Letsshop.in gives high importance to consumer delight and preferences and that was the idea with which I had started the portal.
What is the biggest feather in Letsshop.in’s hat?
We have made available a wide range of products categorized into Mobiles, Watches and Gadgets, Home Appliances, Desktops, Notebooks, Consumer Electronics, Designer Apparels or Accessories at best possible prices. All the categories have huge assortments of products.
What’s more, we have made the entire shopping experience very convenient for the consumers by making payment options very easy. We accept most of the debit cards, net banking cards, credit cards and also accept payments through cheques/demand drafts.
What makes your portal more consumer-friendly?
To keep it simple, complete customer satisfaction is what we believe in. Providing quality products and ensuring replacement, if any. For any customer queries/doubts we always provide prompt assistance and we are always open to consumer feedback at every level to make their buying process more easy and trouble-free. Added incentive here is that the ordered product can be shipped to the consumer within 48 hours.
In fact, in our efforts to add to consumer satisfaction and to make their shopping experience more enjoyable, we also provide a complimentary offer to gift-wrap the product they purchase, just in case the customer wants to gift it to someone else. On the whole, we have tried to provide Letsshop.in customers with the best kind of online shopping facilities available online.
What are the barriers faced in terms of consumer apprehension towards online shopping security?
Letsshop.in makes sure that the information provided by the consumers to them is secured and treat them as highly confidential. After a transaction, every consumer’s private information (credit card numbers, social security numbers, financial etc) are not to be stored in our servers. Also, we make sure that their personal information is not disclosed to outside parties.
We also offer 100% refund including the shipping charges in case the customers receive a damaged product and they draw the same to the notice of the service providers within 48 hours of delivery. Their money will be sent back to them within 7 working days. However, we do not offer any return, exchange or cancellation of the orders otherwise.
What did you have to do in order to establish Letsshop.in?
Letsshop.in has managed to form its presence online. With the gaining importance of social media; Gozoop Online Pvt. Ltd., our digital marketing partners are consistently making our online presence strong. Rohan Bhansali (Co-founder of Gozoop Online Pvt. Ltd.) and his team have been excessively helping us with our online promotions as well as offline activities.
Apart from the website, we have a Facebook and a Twitter page wherein our consumers can know about the latest discounts on their favorite gadgets and also get their doubts solved or ask for suggestions. These pages also help in resolving the queries and grievances of the consumers as they get immediate and appropriate replies from us and their requirements are always looked after promptly.
Getting things right we have our presence of 5000+ Fans on Facebook along with 1000+ Followers on twitter. Along with their questions and problems, we also value their suggestions and feedback online which helps the brand to make changes, improve the ongoing flaws and make the buying process a customized one for the consumers.
All these things together have brought about an E Commerce revolution in the country. It only proves that the people are moving forward with a changed attitude towards online shopping. We are empowering the consumers by giving them a chance to save time and shop the best products at less than market prices.
What are the most important lessons you have learnt so far?
By making all the things available to the consumers and giving them these additional facilities, Letsshop.in has managed to set benchmarks in the online shopping markets and they are also receiving great reviews and feedback from the consumers.
A collective effort put forth from my team and Gozoop’s end has made it possible to offer great quality products and up to the mark services to our consumers. The journey has been good so far and we are gaining recognition amongst the target market, thus boosting our enthusiasm!
