UHF Gen 2 RFID Tag for NFC and far field


Toronto, Canada –GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has launched this passive UHF Gen 2 RFID tag providing both near-field and far-field communication modes. It is a perfect solution for item level tagging applications. This compact tag, which employs advanced passive RFID technology is a very economic alternative to other more expensive active tag solutions and is specially designed for use in retail and supply chain management, asset tracking, document management and logistics. It belongs to GAO’s Fleet Maintenance RFID Tags family of products.
This RFID tag, model 116008, operates at a frequency range of 902 to 928 MHz for America standards and has a memory capacity of 96 bit for data storage. This passive tag is compliant with the EPC Class 1 Gen2 standard and ISO18000-6C protocol. It allows for multi-detection and offers a maximum read quantity of 400 tags/s. It is available with offset printing or silk screen with logo, code or bar code. This contactless read/write tag has 4 holes 0.125 inches in diameter and is encapsulated within polypropylene 0.010” on both sides thus it is waterproof and dustproof and is resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil, 10%HCL ammonia. Furthermore, it is vibration resistant and is fine tuned for edge on reading.
