The theme of this year’s workshop was “Achieving more with less” and is aimed at showcasing products and services which will enable Mauritian corporates to enhance their business performance by educating them on how to measure the economic value of partnering with companies that can not only provide state-of-the-art technology solutions, but also reliable, cost-effective return on investment systems.
Tactile Technologies was an obvious choice to participate in the conference to share their outstanding knowledge of touchscreen technology and promote the self-service kiosk solution which will surely be very well received by the corporate sector in Mauritius. We have been working with Tactile Technologies for the past six months and they have brought us a wealth of experience and knowledge in touchscreen solutions and the list of potential interested clients is growing ever so long,” says Alain Lim- EIS Sales Manager.
The attendees were from the top 100 companies in Mauritius and the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Empowerment, Dr Ramakrishna Sithanen, delivered the inaugural speech of the workshop.

This show is not only known for exhibiting the best cars of today, but also introducing new models, prototypes and concept cars navigating the future of more ecological and economical vehicles. South Africa stood proud as Optical Energy showcased its innovative Joule, Africa’s first battery electric engineering masterpiece.
Clickthinking, a strategic partner to Optimal Energy, selected Tactile Technologies for the design and development of an interactive touch screen kiosk solution to be utilised during the motor show. The kiosk enclosures included a webcam facility to allow visitors to capture images of themselves on pre-selected backgrounds and email them to family and friends. In addition it included a headset to listen to supporting audio without the distraction of the bigger event.
