KSP Reports Bing Increases Growth, Ad Impressions and Clicks
Los Angeles, California (04 August 2010) – Keyword Search Pros has published its latest quarterly report showing Bing’s steady growth in ad impressions and clicks. The report that covers the second quarter of 2010 also includes the overall growth and recovery of search advertising as a whole. Keyword Search Specialists work with advertisers on the world’s largest search engines including Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Ask.com, Facebook and many more.
Bing, the newest Microsoft search engine is currently controlled through the same MSN AdCenter interface that controlled the previous MSN engine. In the report, KSP says the ad impressions on Bing are up 60% compared to the second quarter of 2009, while impressions on both Google and Yahoo remain steady over the past year. Ad clicks have also risen considerably to 145% compared to the period last year, while clicks on Google and Yahoo have remain slightly declined.
Certainly the figures above are good news for Bing and for advertisers who are looking forward to the ongoing integration of Yahoo into Microsoft’s Search Network to create a solid second option after Google. Bing is offering users a fresh new way to search and advertisers a fresh new way to advertise. Bing’s advertising spend share rose while its click share dropped while Yahoo dropped in both spend share and click share.
Keyword Search Pros also noted that the over-all year spending in PPC advertising has increased by almost 33% in the second quarter, and has risen to almost 12% from the previous quarter of 2010. It is reported that the retail industry has caused this significant growth.
