It’s a win for James in Leaders’ ‘Guess the Goal’ competition!

Local letting specialists Leaders have started getting into the football spirit in the run up to the World Cup with a ‘guess the time of the first goal’ competition held last month.

Lucky Fareham tenant, James Fox, had his administration fee - more than £275 – returned to him by Leaders for correctly guessing that the first goal would be scored 23 minutes into the England V Egypt Match held at Wembley last month.

The competition was entered by more than 120 tenants in and around Portsmouth who reserved a Leaders property to rent in the weeks leading up to the match, which took place on 3rd March.

Leaders report that there has been extremely high demand for rented accommodation in the area in recent months. Says Sue: “We are receiving a lot of enquiries from tenants for all types of property to rent. Exact requirements vary from area to area, with 2 and 3 bedroom houses being most in demand within a 3 mile radius of Portsmouth and Fareham. In Gosport 1 and 2 bedroom properties are most sought after, and in Waterlooville many people are looking to rent 2 and 3 bedrooms houses. In Southsea we are experiencing very high demand for student accommodation.

“At the moment there is a real shortage of property available to rent because of high demand. We would urge anybody with a property to let, or anyone considering buying to let in the area, to get in touch with us to find out how they can make the best from the very buoyant lettings market here in Portsmouth.”

Leaders have more 27 years experience in lettings and are fully-bonded members of ARLA.
