Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking Inc. (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) offers this new active RFID Reader Gateway (GAO 227005). The RFID hub is able to collect, filter, and edit data from various readers and store tag data to a host system via Ethernet, USB, serial port, WLAN and GPRS/GSM.
This hub is able to communicate with specific GAO active RFID tags at a distance of up to 300 feet. Up to eight read/write modules can be concurrently connected to the hub. An internal real-time clock provides accurate time stamps for data from the tags, and an internal memory saves up to 2,000 messages in order to avoid data loss.
GAO’s active RFID Reader Gateway provides the following additional features:
• Long-range tags can be read and written to
• SDK for simple integration into applications
