D-Link Showcases Next-Generation Mobile and Connectivity Innovations at CTIA
(NewDesignWorld Press Release Center) -- LAS VEGAS, - D-Link will highlight the next-generation in digital home networking and Wireless solutions at the Showstoppers media event at the International CTIA Wireless show here this week. With a focus on mobile and connectivity innovations, D-Link will preview some of the hottest devices to enhance home monitoring, high definition (HD) entertainment streaming and on-the-go wireless access:
The D-Link® 3G Door Phone (DWM-351) is the first device of its kind that allows homeowners to remotely monitor the front door and talk to visitors using their 3G-enabled mobile phones -- from wherever they are. The device installs and is powered the same as a traditional doorbell, except it features a 3G card slot, camera, speaker and microphone. Encased in IP65 waterproof housing, the 3G Door Phone has an LED indicator lets the homeowner know that the device is working, and an illuminated button allows easy visibility when it is dark outside. A built-in fixed focus .1 megapixel CMOS camera captures the images of visitors and streams the information to the PC or 3G mobile device, providing an additional layer of security for the home.
The D-Link RUSH (DAP-1560) is a powerful combination of two wireless access points designed to create a bridge from the home network to the television. The RUSH takes home networking to a new level of performance for homeowners who demand the fastest streaming possible of high-definition content, such as HD movies, games and more. There is no need to replace the home router - the RUSH has a unique 4x4 antenna design to boost the power of any existing 802.11 a, b, g or n router with up to 600Mbps* speed and greater signal coverage.
The D-Link Mobile Broadband Wireless Router (DIR-412) offers users a whole new level of connectivity while on the move and can also serve as a powerful backup for the local network. Users can create a reliable high-speed 802.11n Wi-Fi network while on the road by pairing the router with compatible mobile broadband USB adapter. The perfect travel companion, the DIR-412 is ideal for situations where an impromptu wireless network is needed, or wherever conventional network access is not available. It can be installed on buses, trains, or boats, allowing travelers to access online functionality while commuting.
