Could we be the National Champion?
After entering one of the most prestigious Award programmes in floristry, Gloriosa (of Main Street, Davidson’s Mains, Edinburgh) are now in the running to claim the title Flower Shop of the Year 2007.
The Awards have been open to florists nationwide since January with nearly 300 registering following its success last year, although the format has been dramatically changed for 2007 with florists having to complete an in-depth round one assessment.
Aimed at keeping the standards of floristry, customer service and business management high, the Awards will also earn the winning shop £5,000 to invest in their business.
Florists winning through the first round will each receive a Silver Award of Excellence and will be announced during June. They will then go on to compete for Gold in the next stage of the Awards.
