Author Ranjit K Das announces release of two books

‘The Best Poems & Poets of 2007’ international award-winning author R. K. Das answers these questions and more in “Songs of a Stringed Soul”- a collection of 90 poems and “Treasured Slices from Life and Living”- a compilation of 101 inspirational writings.

“Treasured Slices from Life and Living (ISBN 978-81-8465-017-4)” (428 p, Rs.399) is an introspective journey through the soul-nourishing experiences of the author. The book is a compilation of reflective pieces on wide ranging themes - music, religion, urbanism and spiritual development. “Although intense experiences come more or less in everyone’s life, depending on the talents endowed by the Creator, each one adopts a unique way to express oneself,” philosophizes Das. RK Das has nearly three decades of experience in working with an Apex Level Public Financial Institution. In between, he had also a five-year stint as faculty member at a National Level Training Institute specializing on Behavioral Science and Micro Credit.
