Sri Shirdi Sai Baba the ancient saint was lived in the Holi City Shirdi, and this city has become famous pilgrimage for innumerous Sai Baba’s devotees even in this modern era. A Historical Sai Sadbhawana Padyatra 2007 is started by Baba’s devotees on 10th March and inaugurated by Star TV serial (Small Screen Sai Baba) Actor Mukul Nag, who has been playing the role of Sai Baba in the prestigious star plus serial “Shirdi Ke Sai Baba”. In this Padyatra more than 400 hundred devotees are on the way to walk approximately 1400 Km of distance which covers 6 States to reach final destination Sapnawat Village Ghaziabad on 23rd March 2007. This Padyatra is especially meant to bring the Agni (Jyoti) from Shirdi to Sapnawat, Ghaziabad’s Sai Baba Temple. This Sai Sadbhawana Padyatra was started for the first time in the year 2003 by Sai Devotees to spread the message of “Sab Ka Malik Ek” among people.
On occasion of the arrival of Holi and Prestigious Agni (Jyoti), Chief Trustee Sai Temple & Sadbhawana Yatra Chief Organizer Jagpal Singh Shishodiya, Actor Mukul Nag in the costumes of Sai Baba and other thousands of Sai devotees will present. This is the 5th Historical Sadbhawana Padyatra in the year of 2007. This Padyatra starts from Shirdi Sai Temple and come across from many villages, towns and cities like Koper Gaon, Manmad, Malegaon, Dhule, Shirpur, Sendhua, Julmania, Tikari, Dhamnod, Mho, Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Agar, Jhalawar, Kota, Boondi, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana, Bharatpur, Mathura, Vrindavan, Gowardhan Parikrama, Palwal, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Badarpur (Delhi) Noida, Dadri, Dhaulana etc. to reach Sapnawat.
Every year lakhs of devotees involve in this Padyatra from across the country and all the villages, towns and cities falls in the way of Sadbhawana Yatra will totally dipped in the Holy Spirit of Sai’s devotion. 400 devotees will be on the way day and night and this yatra will be continuing for more than nine years.
According to Chief Trustee Jagpal Singh Shishodiya, all 400 devotees are dispersed as 10 groups. And one group continually on way for 3 hours simultaneously other groups. 5-6 canters were following the devotees which contain food and other commodities which will be needed by the devotees. Every year the root will be different for Padyatra to give Jyoti (Agni) to all temples which fall on the way as said earlier “Jyoti Se Jyoti Jalaate Chalo”.
This Sai Padyatra reached Noida on 23rd March and then reached Sapnawat on same day. The most important thing in this yatra is that “Agni” was not put on the ground despite of such a long journey. After completing all Puja they put that “Palki”on ground in Ghaziabad Sai Temple. In this occasion Actor Mukul Nag in the costumes of Sai Baba and other thousands of Sai devotees were present there in Ghaziabad temple. According to Jagpal Singh, Generally people surprised by thinking that, ‘how these devotees cover this much of distance within this short time. When we started this Padyatra, even we thought that how we are going to do with this Padyatra. But when you will be totally intruded in Holi Spirit of Sai, we will be least bother about the time and the Yatra will be successful’.
