BMW X6 Coming to Boston Area Summer 2008
United States of America (Press Release) March 9, 2008 -- The 2009 BMW X6 will be arriving in New England this summer. The BMW X6 should be available for a test drive at BMW of Peabody in June. Consumer interest is very high since the X6 unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show in January. BMW of Peabody will be offering the 2009 X6 to customers in the greater Essex County area who want to experience the world's first Sports Activity Coupe.
The 2009 BMW X6 will be available in two engine configurations: the xDrive50i with 400 hp and the xDrive35i with 300 hp. Both configurations come with twin turbo and direct injection engines. The BMW X6 offers BMW of Peabody customers unique features and performance ability in a combination unmatched by any other vehicle. The estimated base price for the 2009 X6 35i will be $52,500 and the 2009 X6 5.0i will be $63,000. Prices will be confirmed closer to the actual launch date.
Massachusetts and New Hampshire BMW customers will be please to know that the 2009 X6’s design combines the sporting elegance of a large BMW Coupe with the powerful presence of a BMW X model. The BMW X6 comes as standard with BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive technology with electronic control for variable distribution of drive power between the front and rear axles, consistently adjusted to driving conditions at all times and in all situations.
