RNCOS has recently added a new Market Research Report titled, “China Software Market Forecast to 2012” to its report gallery. Traditionally, China has been widely known for its world-class low cost manufacturing facilities. But the ongoing battle to make China a ‘hi-tech’ service-based economy has fuelled growth in the domestic software industry in recent years. Factors encouraging the software players (both domestic and foreign) to enter the Chinese software industry include government support, easy access to rapidly developing IT infrastructure, vast domestic potential and availability of low cost resources, says “China Software Market Forecast to 2012”, a new research report by RNCOS.

The Chinese software industry registered strong growth of more than 30% in 2008, indicating that the industry has not been impacted by the ongoing global economic crisis. The Chinese government’s continuous efforts in the form of IT investment, construction of software parks, and provision of quick approvals to secure international investment have largely driven the software industry amidst global downturn.

Besides, the rapid growth in IT spending among various industrial segments, including government, banking and manufacturing, has helped the industry to flourish and the same is likely to propel the domestic software industry over the forecasted period, anticipates the report. Considering these factors, the Chinese software industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of more than 24% by 2012.

The industry’s potential is not only limited to the domestic consumption, foreign majors are also eying the industry as viable software outsourcing destination. In this regard, the report thoroughly studies the software industry in China by highlighting its driving factors and major challenges. It also provides an insight into the software industry by verticals and studies the key opportunity areas to enable clients align their strategies accordingly.

“China Software Market Forecast to 2012” studies the Chinese software industry by segregating it into revenue from various segments, including revenue from software products, systems Integration, embedded system software, software technology services and IC (Integrated Circuits) designing. It contains extensive research on each of these segments, covering the future growth potential along with rationale reasoning.

The report has given forecast on following segments:

- Software industry revenue
- Software products revenue
- Systems integration revenue
- Embedded system software revenue
- Software technology services revenue
- IC designing revenue
- Software exports
- IT spending across various vertical sectors like Government, Telecom Industry and Banking Industry.
- SaaS Market

The report also gives brief information on the major software parks in the country along with various incentives offered by the government if a software unit is being set in either of these parks.

2. MLM Success Secret – Properly Setting Goals to Achieve Ultimate MLM Results
Goal setting is something that is often talked about as very important, but most people don’t know how to effectively set goals or get the results that goals can provide. Setting goals properly is one of the best kept MLM secrets to achieving ultimate results.

The first mistake, especially with goals in MLM, is that many of us think that we have our goals clearly defined in our head. The problem with this is that if you believe this, then you are probably misleading yourself. In fact, in classes that I have taught, when asked to write out goals on paper, most people (who say that they have goals) are completely stumped.

It’s easy to believe that you have something clear in your mind, but if you can’t write it out in 1 or 2 sentences, then you need to get more precise about exactly what you want to achieve.

Here’s a comparison that I once heard:

Goals are like buying a plane ticket. If you walk up to the ticket window and ask for a plane ticket, the person at the window will ask, “Where would you like to go?”

If your answer sounds something like, “Just somewhere nice and sunny. Maybe a place with some mountains or an ocean where my family and I can relax.” Then you are in trouble.

The person at the window will have NO IDEA where you’d like to go- and neither do you. You’d never plan a trip without knowing exactly where you’d like to end up- so why wouldn’t you plan your goals the same way?

So, in goal setting, it’s of primary importance to be clear about your intentions, and exactly what type of result you want to achieve. Here is a goal setting checklist of things that will help you achieve ultimate MLM results:

1- The goal must be tangible, countable, or measurable. If you can’t count it, weigh it, or measure it in specific numbers or time, then it’s not tangible enough.

2- Your MLM goal must be believable. If you don’t believe that you could ever achieve your ultimate MLM result, then start with something smaller.

3- You need a time table. Deadlines get results, so if you don’t have a completion date defined, it will undermine your efforts by allowing you to procrastinate.

4- Write your goal down on paper. If you don’t have written goals for your MLM, then you are wasting your time. To reach your ultimate result, your goals must be written.

There are dozens of books, tapes, and seminars all about goal setting, but if you follow these 4 simple rules, you’ll be miles ahead of the pack. Remember, the secret to getting ultimate MLM results is properly setting and following through on goals.

3. Indian Steel Manufacturers Eying Transportation & Construction Projects
According to our new research report, “Indian Steel Industry Outlook to 2012”, although metal products segment was the highest stainless steel consuming industry at the end of 2007-08, construction and transportation industries witnessed robust growth in the steel consumption in the same fiscal year. Railways, automotive & transport, airports, municipal/urban local bodies (ULBs), shopping malls, new hospitals, hotels and housing created strong demand for steel in 2007-08.

However, the global recession has significantly impacted the stainless steel consumption pattern as private investments have chocked in various sectors, raising an alarm for slow growth in stainless steel consumption. Moreover, the slowdown in the global and domestic financial market is expected to affect the consumption of stainless steel in the private sector in coming years.

Amidst declining stainless steel consumption on account of global recession, Indian steel manufacturers are focusing on transportation and construction projects to get their businesses rolling as these projects are financed or carried out through government funds. Moreover, it is believed that the government will take these projects very seriously as they create huge employment opportunities.

In addition, the government investments in the eleventh five year plan would enable the Indian steel industry to sustain growth until the recession period is over.

4. Internet Market Thriving in the Middle East
The need to get connected to the rest of the world has prompted many regional and international telecom firms to pour huge investments in laying down cable networks or setting up satellite connections to provide the region with seamless high-speed Internet services. Many industries (such as retail industry, tourism industry, and insurance industry) in the Middle East are performing well amid global economic crisis. This is driving the demand for ICT products, particularly Internet, in the region.

In this regard, the region has been investing huge amounts on upgrading its Internet infrastructure to stay connected to the global Internet environment, says our new report, “Middle East ICT Market Analysis”. Egypt, for instance, increased its Internet bandwidth from 850 Mbps in 2003 to 27,077 Mbps in 2008. Our team of experts has done thorough analysis of key Internet markets in the Middle East region.

We have found that Israel had the maximum Internet penetration rate in the Middle East region at the end of 2008, followed by the UAE and Bahrain. Our research also pointed out that the Internet penetration of some countries declined as a result of global economic crisis. This led to the reduction in the expat population that has been an important factor for the increased subscriber base over the past few years.

As Internet penetration across various countries such as Jordan and Oman remains relatively low (less than 10%), Middle East offer enormous opportunities for the Internet industry in near future. Our research anticipates the total number of Internet subscribers in the region to surge at a CAGR of around 20% through 2012. Considering the importance to stay connected anytime and anywhere, the governments across the Middle East have also been stressing on the use of Internet among the corporate and households.

To better gauge the future success of the Internet market in the Middle East, “Middle East ICT Market Analysis” provides forecast on Internet subscribers, penetration rate of Internet subscribers, forecast on broadband subscribers and penetration rate of broadband subscribers by region. The report also discusses various forces fueling growth in the Middle East Internet sector.
