Report Broken Link

According to our new research report, “Indian Steel Industry Outlook to 2012”, although metal products segment was the highest stainless steel consuming industry at the end of 2007-08, construction and transportation industries witnessed robust growth in the steel consumption in the same fiscal year. Railways, automotive & transport, airports, municipal/urban local bodies (ULBs), shopping malls, new hospitals, hotels and housing created strong demand for steel in 2007-08.

However, the global recession has significantly impacted the stainless steel consumption pattern as private investments have chocked in various sectors, raising an alarm for slow growth in stainless steel consumption. Moreover, the slowdown in the global and domestic financial market is expected to affect the consumption of stainless steel in the private sector in coming years.

Amidst declining stainless steel consumption on account of global recession, Indian steel manufacturers are focusing on transportation and construction projects to get their businesses rolling as these projects are financed or carried out through government funds. Moreover, it is believed that the government will take these projects very seriously as they create huge employment opportunities.

In addition, the government investments in the eleventh five year plan would enable the Indian steel industry to sustain growth until the recession period is over.

“Indian Steel Industry Outlook to 2012” provides comprehensive information along with rational analysis on the Indian steel industry. 1. Blogertize.in - A low cost solution for budding bloggers worldwide
Blogging is the new baby of marketing; Advertising is the cost that one doesn’t want to bear to raise this baby. Blogging for dollars seems to be the latest craze to hit the Internet and that’s what inspired Dushyant Bhatia, a 23 year old internet entrepreneur from India to come up with www.blogertize.in. Blogertize, as the name suggests, is a platform for budding bloggers to advertise their blogs. Launched on Sep 01, 2008, the site is open for all the bloggers/forums worldiwide to rent pixel buttons for a 3 year period by paying a one time charge as low as $15. The website is categorized into 12 segments namely sports, technology, health, politics, finance, gaming, education, showbiz, travel, life, literature and social responsibility. All the pixel buttons in social responsibility can be booked by the NGOs and social service organization worldwide free of cost on first come first serve basis.
Blog marketing is powerful and effective but unlike big businesses/corporates, not all bloggers can afford to spend a huge chunk on advertisements. The truth is most bloggers don't have that kind of money to spend on marketing, so what can be done? Either wait for the traffic to grow organically, auction off advertising space on ebay, try different income streams like adsense, donations, text link ads etc. Search Engine Advertising is becoming more costly and media is getting very expensive and advertising for small/medium businesses and online hobbyists is not easy.

Blogertize seems to have found a simplified solution that caters to the needs of these leisure pursuits. The idea seems to have clicked given the fact that around 25-30 odd buttons worth $2,000+ covering almost all the segments have already been reserved within the first week following the company’s launch. The site is planning to launch its forum by the end of November which would not be limited to a particular topic/subject but would be a place where anything and everything could be discussed.

This one of a kind forum is likely to encourage the empowerment of its members by providing them with a rich access to information and resources. i.e. A member who’d like to keep himself/herself updated about the latest in the tech circuit could sign up for the monthly tech newsletter, the content of which will be provided by the bloggers advertising with the site. The link to the blog from where the content has been extracted would also be mentioned in the newsletter.

So if one is seeking loyal readers with whom to share thoughts, opinion and experiences or is looking for ways to increase ad revenue – www.blogertize.in could be a fine investment.

2. Low Wages & Govt Support Pushing China Ahead of other Asia-Pacific Biotech Markets
We have recently released a new research report, “Asia Pacific Biotechnology Market (2008-2012)”, which says that the Chinese biotechnology market is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 23% during 2007-2012. This will enable the country to represent around 25% of the Asia Pacific biotech market revenue by 2012.

The report has identified lower wages in China compared to other Asian-Pacific countries as the main reason for high growth in the country’s biotechnology market. For instance, wages in China are 10% to 15% lower than that in India, one of the low-cost countries. Moreover, with hire and fire policy, the labor policies in China are more liberal, helping the biotech industry to increase productivity and reduce cost.

The Chinese government strongly supports its biotech industry and has been aggressively investing in the industry to foster growth, says the report. Apparently, the annual investments by the government surged at a CAGR of 86.12% during 2001-2005 to US$ 1.2 Billion in 2005 from US$ 100 Million in 2001. In addition, we expect that the investment will rise to US$ 8.8 Billion by the end of 2010 as the government intends to make China one of the leading biotech markets in the world.

China is just one of the many Asia-Pacific countries discussed in the “Asia-Pacific Biotechnology Market (2008-2012)”. The report provides comprehensive overview on the biotechnology market of countries like Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. It highlights the fact that Asia-Pacific biotechnology markets differ from each other remarkably in terms of infrastructure, talent pool, size, funding, growth, and potential as an outsourcing destination. It gives valuable information along with statistical data to pharmaceutical & biotechnology companies and investors planning to invest in these markets, helping them to plan their strategies according to the individual market.

The report also provides information on the market size, segmentation, structure, growth, future prospects, success and risk factors, and evolving trends in technology development.

4. Hong Kong Insurance Market to 2013
Hong Kong is one of the most dynamic insurance markets in the world. Its geographic location, credible legal system and effective regulatory framework have helped it to become a leading insurance centre in Asia that has attracted many of the world’s top insurers, says a new research report “Hong Kong Insurance Market to 2013” from a world class research provider RNCOS.

Demand for insurance products has been rising rapidly in recent years, and is expected to continue growing substantially during our forecast period (2009-2013). There will not be any significant impact of the economic turmoil on the market as consumers have not stopped buying insurance products but simply changed their choices for insurance products. They are now opting for less risky products which have least exposure to the open markets. Thus, the decline in demand for investment-linked products is being offset by increase in traditional (non-linked) insurance products up to some extent.

Gross premium income has witnessed double-digit annual growth rates since 1990s, rising by 26.5% in 2007 on YOY basis. The market is strongly biased towards long-term insurance, which accounts for over 86% of the market, while general insurance premium make up 14%, as on 2008 end.

The report provides extensive research and rational analysis of the insurance industry in Hong Kong. The report thoroughly examines the current industry trends which are adding to the growth of the insurance industry. The report also gives future outlook considering the possible impact of recession on various segments of the industry.

The report also features forecast (2009-2013) on premium of following insurance branches/sub-branches:

- Long-term Insurance
- Life & Annuity
- Retirement Scheme
- General Insurance
- Accident & Health
- General Liability
- Property
- Motor

The forecast given in this report is not based on a complex economic model, but is intended as a rough guide to the direction in which the market is likely to move. This forecast is based on correlations between past market growth and growth of base drivers.

5. Massive Construction Projects Will Keep Steel Demand Strong in UAE
With growing economy that raised the investment in construction and infrastructure development activities, the annual domestic consumption of steel in the UAE surged from 4 Million Tons in 2006 to over 6 Million Tons in 2007, as per the new research report, “UAE Steel Industry Analysis”, from RNCOS.

The report sees the UAE as the frontrunner in the Gulf region due to its booming construction sector which is anticipated to see investment of nearly US$ 94 Billion between 2007 and 2009. However, the point of concern is the localization of construction activities to Dubai, but this trend is expected to change in coming years, with the entire federation seeing unprecedented growth, especially the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Several large-scale development projects have taken off in Dubai to make the UAE a popular tourist and business destination. These include Burj Dubai, Underwater Hotel, Dubailand, Business Bay, Palm Islands, Dubai Festival City, The World and Dubai Waterfront. Moreover, these projects will not only keep contractors busy, but also build a stable foundation for long-term economic growth of the country.

The ongoing development projects clearly reflect the growing demand for steel, cement and other construction material in the UAE which has continuously maintained double-digit economic growth rate. Besides, large infrastructure and property development projects have spurt the prices of steel tremendously in the country. Continuously rising demand for steel has created a big market for steel suppliers and stockists who compete to provide a wide range of steel on demand.

“UAE Steel Industry Analysis” gives exhaustive analysis along with statistical information on the growing steel market in the UAE. It thoroughly studies market trends, evolving markets, growth prospects and investment opportunities in the UAE and GCC steel markets. It also provides panoramic view on various segments of the industry by correlating past market growth and key growth drivers such as economic performance of the industry, long-term metal demand, competitive structure and government rules and regulations, helping clients to modify their investment strategies accordingly.

The report also provides forecast on steel production by country, rebar steel consumption by country and construction industry.
