According to our new report, “Restructuring and 3G - New Dimensions for China Telecom Sector”, foreign telecom players, who have been waiting for a long time to serve the Chinese wireless market, are now considering giving shape to their plans of entering the world’ largest and highly lucrative telecom industry, China.

Various foreign players, such as SK Telecom of South Korea and Telefonica (the second largest phone company of Europe), already enjoy substantial stakes in China’s fixed-line operators, China Telecom and China Netcom. “Restructuring of the Chinese telecom industry would give these players an opportunity to bring their mobile business to the country, as the domestic partners now have access to the country’s wireless market”, says an analyst at RNCOS. For instance, SK telecom, which held 6.61% of China Unicom’s total equity before the telecom industry reorganization, is seeking suitable opportunities to raise its stake in the company.

As if to reward these moves, the Chinese government announced in September 2008 that it would relax access to its telecom industry for foreign investors by cutting minimum investment criteria by as much as 50%. We anticipate that deregulation by the government may trigger an influx of foreign investment in the Chinese telecom sector.

Also, the government’s move to finalize issuance of 3G licenses in the first week of 2009 has opened up new avenues for foreign biggies to venture into the market as the market will create huge thirst for capital among Chinese telecom operators, who are actively expanding and upgrading their existing networks in order to gain a favorable position in the country's most promising 3G environment.

The report, “Restructuring and 3G - New Dimensions for China Telecom Sector”, also studies various areas of opportunities emerging in line with the ongoing technological developments in the Chinese telecom industry. It thoroughly evaluates the current performance of domestic telecom industry, inclusive of fixed-line, mobile, Internet and broadband on various parameters, like subscribers, penetration and service providers’ share.

The research offers five-year forecast and analysis on various telecom segments, based on numerous macro- and microeconomic factors, industry specific databases, and our in-house statistical and analytical model. This report has been made to give clients an insight into the telecom market and emerging technologies, such as Mobile TV, IPTV and WiMAX.

1. UAE Medical Insurance Poised to Grow 45%
RNCOS, in its new research report “UAE Insurance Market Forecast to 2012”, says that medical insurance in the UAE is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 45% (local currency) between 2009 and 2012. It has recently observed the highest growth among all the insurance segments in the country. The demand for medical insurance witnessed CAGR growth of around 54% from 2006 to 2008 following the enactment of a law mandating health coverage for expatriate workers. Private sector companies in certain cities such as Abu Dhabi and the free trade zones must provide all their employees and families with a private medical plan. Consequently, majority of multinationals in the UAE (85%) provide a supplementary medical insurance policy, usually through an insured arrangement.

We expect that medical insurance in the UAE will continue to observe robust growth due to increasing number of expatriates and enhanced government support like the establishment of separate regulatory authority for health insurance and allowing private institutions to sell policies. The establishment of a federal health insurance authority to regulate the industry in the UAE will definitely help the industry to move a step ahead. The authority will have its own rules and regulations regarding new establishments and foreign investment cap. This will help in attracting foreign investments and will enable the regulator to monitor the performance of the medical insurance more closely.

“UAE Insurance Market Forecast to 2012” contains an extensive research and in-depth analysis of insurance market in the UAE, with focus on key products and services. The report gives an overview of insurance market structure and studies the market trends to help clients to analyze the leading-edge opportunities in the UAE insurance Industry. Detailed data and analysis help investors, financial service providers and global insurance players to navigate through the evolving insurance sector in the country.

The report also gives forecast on various segments of the insurance industry, including life insurance, medical insurance, accident & liability, fire and other non-life insurances.

2. Indian Footwear Market to Grow at 19% CAGR
According to our new research report “Indian Footwear Market Forecast to 2012”, with growing demand for children and women footwear, the Indian footwear retail market is projected to grow at a CAGR of about 19% between 2009 and 2012. Low cost of footwear production is another major advantage with India which will help in sustaining footwear demand in near future.

India has tremendous untapped potential in the ladies and kids footwear segment. Moreover, no organized retailing chain has the national presence in either of these categories. Of the total footwear market, ladies’ shoes account for almost 40% wherein unorganized segment constitutes 80%-90% of the market, indicating immense marketing opportunities for organized players. As the Indian woman becoming more brand-conscious as opposed to the past state of being product-conscious, a large number of internationally renowned players are expected to enter the market to fill this widening gap. Given India’s very young population, the market for children footwear is also attractive for new organized players to enter and earn supernormal profits.

Besides, women in India are becoming a key decision maker for most of the retail buying like footwear as their role in family planning and contribution to income is increasing. They have also been found doing impulsive buying for their kids during their visit to shopping malls. Thus, this changing trend will definitely help in raising the demand for footwear in India.

“Indian Footwear Market Forecast to 2012” provides reliable and objective analysis on the trends and performance of the Indian footwear market. It gives intensive qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the market. The report also discusses all the key parameters and gives segment-wise forecasts like Men’s, Women’s and Children’s, mass, casual and premium footwear etc.

TECHNO Bead Mills are capable of producing finely dispersed finished product from directly charged raw materials.

Three operations of premixing, grinding and dispersing are combined within one machine. The machine operates on the principle of shear created within the mass differential of product and grinding media. The grinding medium is moved to the vessel wall by the action of the specially designed disc impeller. This constantly moving mass of grinding media is force-flowed up the side of the vertical vessel wall, the action continuing until the vortex spiral directs the media movement towards the agitator shaft for another continuous cycle of events.

The main grinding shell is jacketed for cooling. This is a very speedy operation wherein major products are achieved to the respective gauges in about 1-1/2 hours time.

The applications are Synthetic enamels, Water based primers, Red oxide primers, Artist colours, Flexography inks, Industrial finishes.

Techno Designs offers Horizontal as well as Vertical Sand Mills for wet grinding of various kinds of materials such as Pigments, Agrochemicals, Dyes, Paints, Minerals and various other type chemicals etc. This is primarily used for size reduction of the materials. This Bead Mills are used for continuous dispersion and fine wet grinding for high to low viscosity pumpable fluids.

PRINCIPLE

The necessary energy for grinding is given by rotating the beads by means of discs fixed on the agitator. The grinding beads transfers the energy to the material and high shear and high peripheral velocities reduces the particle size of the material to be ground.

CONTINUOUS

It consists of a Horizontal/Vertical Cylindrical jacketed shell with a central shaft on which number of discs is fixed. The shell is provided with cooling jacket. The shaft end is sealed by double mechanical seal The feed pump and the electric panel is mounted on the main machine with all necessary required instrumentation and controls. The grinding beads are separated from the material by means of gap separator or by Wedge Screen.

Techno Designs offers RVD for clean, simple and effective way of drying of wet cakes, wet powders, slurries where either solvent is to be recovered or drying is to be carried out at relatively low temperature for heat sensitive material.

CONSTRUCTION

It contains a hollow shaft with specially designed hollow arms, which are heated by steam / hot water/ thermic fluid; rotating in a centrally jacketed shell. The entire shell area is effectively covered by the specially designed scrapper arms, which scrape the entire internal surface of the dryer and continuously move and rotate the material remaining in contact with hot surfaces for protracted periods of time. This reduces the drying time.

OPERATION

After starting agitation, feed is charged and vacuum is applied in RVD, dust catcher, condenser and receiver. Then heating the mass causes vapor to evaporate, which is subsequently condensed and collected in receiver. The recovery of solvent is maximum and drying time is low because of higher heat transfer, vacuum and intensive mixing.

SALIENT FEATURES

As each material is unique in nature, Techno Designs offers pilot trial for understanding drying behaviour and predicting data on power and heat input along with drying time. Optional features like breaker bar (for minimizing lump formation for particle size reduction), nitrogen purging (for explosion proof environment), stationary scrapper blades ( for scrapping rotating agitator for highly sticky material), sampling valve (for collecting samples during vacuum application), flame proof motors (for Ex-proof environment)
