Blogging is the new baby of marketing; Advertising is the cost that one doesn’t want to bear to raise this baby. Blogging for dollars seems to be the latest craze to hit the Internet and that’s what inspired Dushyant Bhatia, a 23 year old internet entrepreneur from India to come up with www.blogertize.in. Blogertize, as the name suggests, is a platform for budding bloggers to advertise their blogs. Launched on Sep 01, 2008, the site is open for all the bloggers/forums worldiwide to rent pixel buttons for a 3 year period by paying a one time charge as low as $15. The website is categorized into 12 segments namely sports, technology, health, politics, finance, gaming, education, showbiz, travel, life, literature and social responsibility. All the pixel buttons in social responsibility can be booked by the NGOs and social service organization worldwide free of cost on first come first serve basis.

Blog marketing is powerful and effective but unlike big businesses/corporates, not all bloggers can afford to spend a huge chunk on advertisements. The truth is most bloggers don't have that kind of money to spend on marketing, so what can be done? Either wait for the traffic to grow organically, auction off advertising space on ebay, try different income streams like adsense, donations, text link ads etc. Search Engine Advertising is becoming more costly and media is getting very expensive and advertising for small/medium businesses and online hobbyists is not easy.

Blogertize seems to have found a simplified solution that caters to the needs of these leisure pursuits. The idea seems to have clicked given the fact that around 25-30 odd buttons worth $2,000+ covering almost all the segments have already been reserved within the first week following the company’s launch. The site is planning to launch its forum by the end of November which would not be limited to a particular topic/subject but would be a place where anything and everything could be discussed.

This one of a kind forum is likely to encourage the empowerment of its members by providing them with a rich access to information and resources. i.e. A member who’d like to keep himself/herself updated about the latest in the tech circuit could sign up for the monthly tech newsletter, the content of which will be provided by the bloggers advertising with the site. The link to the blog from where the content has been extracted would also be mentioned in the newsletter.

So if one is seeking loyal readers with whom to share thoughts, opinion and experiences or is looking for ways to increase ad revenue – www.blogertize.in could be a fine investment.

With that said let's look at 9 more marketing options available to all Internet Marketers.

SEO sure isn't what it used to be, but that doesn't mean it should be abandoned. Don't get overwhelmed in the area of SEO, but do make sure that the search engine spiders know what they are looking at when they arrive.

Find PR3 or above forums and blogs which are related to your niche and get involved with them. While you can't do blatant advertising on them, most allow you to provide a link back to your website. At worst this is another backline to your website, at best those who are interested in what you have to say can explore more about your offerings with a simple click.

You earn more backlines while position yourself as an expert in your industry. When writing articles I personally focus on the bum marketing approach where Google tells you what to write. You want your content to remain unique, but it's easy to do that while writing for markets that are largely untapped within your given niche.

I'll admit that this is an area where my own website marketing strategies can be greatly developed. And they will. To ignore Web 2.0 strategies when marketing your website is to risk sure death of your Internet marketing business.

I'm sure you've heard that it's in the list. You know what? Their right! Start building your Internet marketing list from day one for optimum success with your website. My own personal favorite in this area is Aweber. There are other similar services, just be sure to check how their customer service works before getting involved. In this area I've personally found none better than Aweber. For more details go to www.tube-traffic.com With that said let's look at 9 more marketing options available to all Internet Marketers.

2. Pop-up Windows in Internet Marketing
A few years ago, pop-up windows were all the rage in Internet marketing. It seemed that every time one opened a web page they would be bombarded with offers for this or that. It had gotten to the point where surfing the Internet was almost like playing a video game; when the ads would pop-up one would try and close them out before another one came. This is precisely why we have seen the decline in the use of pop-up windows on the Internet today; surfers simply do not even look at the pop-ups anymore. They close the windows out before even reading the ad.

Very often, a surfer will even leave your site if there are too many pop-up ads. They simply do not want the hassle of closing those windows while trying to obtain the information that your site has to offer. This information, while valuable, is not as valuable as the surfer’s time. for more detail go to:www.the-30-minute-marketing-miracle.com.Studies have shown however, that even with these set backs, pop-up windows are still an effective method of Internet marketing.

Is there some way that pop-up windows can be less irritating and still be effective? Yes! What if the pop ad were seen upon exiting your site instead of entering? This would allow the surfer to obtain the information that they need from your site, feeling that they were able to come and go quickly without being hassled by other ads and offers all the while making the surfer happy. You have left the surfer with a positive attitude and therefore are more likely to respond to the pop advertisement. This is being accomplished more and more by using what is being called pop-under windows. When the surfer comes to your site, the ad is opened discretely behind the web page. Then, upon leaving your site, after obtaining all the information that they need, will see the ad and therefore be more likely to respond. Since the surfer has the information, he has achieved his objective and is now open to do other things; ideally respond to the pop under advertisement.

Not all pop-windows are created equally. There are some things that you can do to make your pop-windows, whether pop-up or pop-under more effective. The pop-window should be easy to "escape" from. If the surfer does not want to see the add, but has a hard time closing it out, they will likely become frustrated and could leave your site all together. You should either use a button that will allow the surfer to close the window or be sure that the "x" is easily visible. Another good idea is to use a script that utilizes cookies. Cookies will prevent pop-windows from overloading the surfer since you can decide the frequency of the pop-windows, rather than each time a page is opened. Also be sure that there is no more than one pop-window per page.

When creating a pop-window, you will be asked to fill out a short information form, select the length of cookies, and choose the layout of the pop-window. for more detail go to:www.tried-tested-marketing-strategies.com.When choosing the design of the pop-window, you can increase the effectiveness by creating a large headline that includes benefits that will be most appealing to the customer. You should also consider using incentives and lastly do not ask the customer to read a long and drawn out advertisement. Keep the message simple yet powerful and your pop-ads will be sure to generate profits for your site.

3. What Are The E-book Fairytale?
Junk. There’s a lot of it out there, and you had better be prepared to fall over your fair share of it if you intend to do any kind of business online.

That’s not to say that there aren’t also nuggets of gold out there but you’ll have to go to the end of a lot of rainbows to find them.

The key to building any kind of successful business online always has been and always will be information or go to www.create-free-pdf.com

The reason the internet has taken off the way it has is because it allows anybody from anywhere to access information about what interests them and whether you are buying a new TV or subscribing to a newsletter what you want is the best information available to help you make the right decision.

This is no secret, and it is the reason why information products have been a big growth industry for the online gurus. At anywhere from $27 to $197+, you can buy this ‘How To…’ guide or that ‘…Secrets Revealed’ e-book and truth be told some of these are invaluable in what they can offer but sadly some are just junk.

It is really important, in terms of securing your own success, that you take these products for what they are and never put all of your eggs in one e-books basket.

So how do you know if what you’re being sold is information gold or just junkyard scrap?

Firstly not every quality piece of information is for sale. There is tons of great, free advice available. You may think that no one would really give away high quality info for free but you’d be wrong. In fact many people use exactly that method to establish themselves as leaders in their fields and encourage you to visit their sites.

Testimonials are great and can give you an insight into what the literature has helped other people to do but remember, nobody is going to put a bad review of their product on their site so the best thing for you to read is actually an excerpt from the book. Some authors will actually circulate a page or 2 of their work to encourage new readers. If you can’t find anything then you can always just ask and if their work is as great as they say it is then they should have no reason not to show you a page or 2.

Once you have purchased/downloaded the e-book make sure it does what it says it does.
The content of the book should be exactly what the title and sub-headings claims it will be. If you find it going off on a different tangent then it’s a safe bet that the information will lead you off in different directions too. You can visit www.easy-pdf-toolkit.com

Lastly pay close attention to the little things like punctuation and grammar. It may not seem important but think about it: If a person hasn’t taken the time to make sure that their work is professionally presented what else might they not have been bothered to do? In the multi-national world wide web there will always be some discrepancies for example the differences between UK-English and American-English spellings, but other than that there really is no reason why the work should be sub-par.

If you are ever in doubt about the advice you’re receiving don’t be afraid to ask for clarification. Check with people you know, ask in the forums even email the author of the book and ask them for more information. If you’re still not sure then follow your instincts, put the book down and move on to the next rainbow.

4. How to Choose a good website builder
When starting an online business, it is a good idea for you to learn how to build a proper website that can support your online business. You want your website to be both professionally built and professional looking and recognizable. Using a professional website builder can help you to develop a great website that will represent your business flawlessly. A site builder will save you money, which is important when starting your own online business. A website builder will save you money because it combines numerous features of a traditional website program into one easily used program. Instead of having to consult a professional, you can get the software so you can learn about website building yourself. When looking for a good website builder, you should make sure that the program you choose has the capabilities to provide you with a domain name. A domain name and domain registration are two very important steps in the site builder process. The best website builders will have the ability to see you the domain name and host the website once it is completely constructed. It will cost you more money if you have to purchase your domain name and hosting separately. If you are selling products on your website, you will want to make sure that the program you purchase also has options on how you can communicate with your customers. Newsletters, message boards and auto responders are all great ways to communicate with your clientele. You may need to create newsletters to announce sales you may be having or to let your clientele know about any sort of changes on your site.A good website builder program will include catalogs, coupons and shopping carts for the site. Having a catalog on your site is a great addition. Make sure you purchase a program that has a catalog option so you can create a virtual store on your web page. Throwing in coupons for your products is always a great way to spark interest with your customers. These two factors can help you to get repeat sales, which you should be concerned with. Of course, every site that sells items of any sort needs a shopping cart for their customers to use while browsing on the site.

5. What Are The Tips To Increasing Sales?
The Internet has now become an important medium for product and service advertisements. Almost every company that can afford print, radio and TV advertisements have also ventured into placing ads on the Internet.

But with millions of websites out there being visited by millions of computer users, how can you make sure that your ad can be seen by your target customers and that your leads will be followed by these users? Here are a few tips.

1.Place an ad on the websites frequented by your target customers. Before doing this, you need to define who will be your target customers. Placing an ad on sites that they usually visit will increase the possibility that your ad will gain the attention and will be followed your target customers. Also, for more details visit to www.outsource-beginners.com consider the website's search engine placement, traffic, external linking and the other ads placed on it. External linking will determine if there are other sites that link to this site. This will mean that people can get to the site where your ad is placed, even if they are browsing a different site. Check if many of your competitors have ads on this site.

2.Placing ads on some sites cost some money. However, there are also sites that can place a link to your site, for more details visit to www.sell-using-the-web.com product or service in exchange of having their link being displayed on your site. This is also true about the newsletters sent by site owners to its mailing list members regularly.

Also, having helpful links placed on your site and having sites link to your pages help in boosting search engine ranking. This is similar to making a statement that your site's content is important that other sites have links to your web pages.

3.Pay-per-click (PPC) is also a good method in Internet marketing. You will only need to pay for the ad if the link is clicked. If you prefer this method of advertisement, make sure that you are using services that set limits on daily expenses. There are also services that help you determine effective keywords and monitor the PPC results.

4. Choose your domain name wisely. It is still being debated if domain names matter when it comes to search engine placement. Whether it does or not, having product related domain names help consumers remember your domain that they can go back to your site even without the links.

5.Make sure you have useful content on your sites. While keyword density is important in search engine placement, having useless information or annoying repetition of keywords will not increase your customer's confidence in your site. It may even affect your sites traffic and can get your site removed from search engines. So make sure that keywords are used strategically.

6.When thinking of keywords, think like your target customers. What do you think are they going to search so they can get to your site? Also, use specific keywords or key phrases. Submitting a single word or a very general phrase to a search engine will not get you to the top of the search results compared to submitting specific keywords that describe your product and services perfectly.

7.Track your ads. Always check how much you have spent on placing links on frequently visited sites and on PPC. There are services that allow you to monitor PPC transactions and how many of these end in sales. You always need to consider if the ads that you have placed on these websites are getting you to your target consumers and if these ads can lead to revenue.

One final tip on marketing products and services, sell the benefits. It will help your marketing strategies a lot if you highlight the benefits of choosing your products and services instead of merely discussing the product specifications. Product specifications may not mean much to customers, unless they know what these stand for (how these specifications affect the quality of the product or service).

Many people say getting to the top of search engine results is difficult since millions of websites exist, which can be using the same keywords. While this is true, this doesn't mean that your website has to stacked under your competitors' websites when presenting search engine results. Strategic advertising and linking, together with useful content, can also get you to the top of the search results.
